Witch hazel: astringent and soothing hydrolat


With its characteristic notes of grass, the Witch Hazel hydrosol Bioflore is major in cosmetic applications.

Indication

  • average pH: 4
  • Aroma well-tempered, but not too green, slightly woody
  • Suitable for all skin types but especially for combination to oily skin for its slightly astringent side as well as mature skin for its antioxidant action.

Properties

Witch hazel:
  • Promotes microcirculation.
  • Will be appreciated if spider veins and hemorrhoids.
  • Improves the circulatory comfort, including pregnant women.
  • Brings comfort to the skin prone to eczema or psoriasis.
  • Calms insect bites.
  • Is tonic, antioxidant and astringent.

Use

This hydrolat Bioflore is used in compresses (50/50 with water) and bath seats. Aroma and soothing make-supreme choice in the preparation of your creams, lotions, natural deodorants.

Trick

  • In case of sore throat, use hydrolat pure witch hazel as a gargle or in combination with the hydrosol thyme thujanol.
  • If hoarseness and to find his voice still gargling with hydrolate cypress.
  • Hydrolate associated with camomile or blueberry, it soothes sensitive skin prone to redness, to rash, to swelling, to flaking.
  • Witch hazel is an anti-aging hydrolat interesting to use in combination with hydrolate cist.
